Who We Are
We enjoy and embody Jesus together through…
-
We believe that reality is discovered in God. Who we are, who He is, the purpose of life, is accessible through knowing Him. And we know Him primarily through His self-revelation, the Bible. Through encountering God in the Bible, we seek to align our whole lives with what is real, and what is good.
How you will experience it: We will prioritize teaching through books of the Bible on Sundays and structure our communities around applying the Bible to our lives
-
We believe that Jesus is the good life. Jesus said that He came to give life to the full (John 10:10). Knowing Jesus is that full life. When he asks us to live a certain way it is because he is inviting us into an abundant life.
How you will experience it: You will hear about core practices of our church that are designed to help people notice God in daily life. You will see us devote ourselves to our marks of a disciple: being with Jesus, being like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did.
-
Jesus said that it was better for Him to leave than for him to stay on earth because the only thing better than Jesus beside you, is Jesus in you. We believe that God is recreating humanity through the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit.
How you will experience it: You will see us live into the gifts of The Spirit and draw attention to His presence and power in daily life.

We need each other. We believe in life together. God reveals himself in his people. We believe that church is not an event that you attend, but a family that you are a part of. A group of people where you can be known for who you are and unconditionally loved. We reject hyper-individualism, and embrace an interconnected way of life.
How you will experience it: Our church gathers twice a week. We gather once on Sunday mornings, and a second time in small groups (communities) throughout the week. To be a part of The Chapel, is to be in a community. We share communion together primarily in our communities
